MF n’ Bad Sneakers  play an energetic mix of timeless, memorable pop/rock music by Bonnie Raitt, Janis Joplin, The Allman Brothers Band, David Bowie, Melissa Etheridge, The Band, B, S & T, The Beatles, Carole King, CSN, Marc Cohn, Pretenders, Elton John, Steely Dan, Van Morrison, Todd Rundgren, etc.

From Dan’s elegant, soulful guitar solos to Scott’s deep keyboard skills, the music is always full and precise but never sterile. Barry’s power and finesse on the drums both anchors and propels Bad Sneakers, and Bob’s solid bass work brings yet more hooks while always laying down the bottom. JR’s slide and rhythm guitar rounds out the songs and he sings with one of the most emotional, recognizable voices around.

But when Mary Frances takes the stage, she brings the light, the love and the magic. A beauty inside and out, Mary Frances owns any song she sings; her voice, soul and sincerity are irrepressible and irresistible. Whether rocking music by Janis or Melissa or melting hearts with a Bonnie Raitt ballad, Mary Frances is the real thing. The onstage chemistry within this band is a very exciting and wonderful thing to witness and enjoy. These six diverse musical siblings are barely able to contain themselves as they inject joyful abandon into these songs we all love. Come along and catch some magic!
